Using the SQL Query Builder¶
The integrated SQL Query Builder lets you build queries visually — dragging in tables, drawing joins between them, and ticking the columns you want — instead of writing the SQL yourself. It's ideal for assembling complex queries (multi-table joins, grouping, sub-queries, unions) quickly and correctly.
The Query Builder writes the SQL for you and hides much of the syntax, but it works best when you understand the underlying SQL concepts — joins, grouping, and so on — so you can steer it toward the result you want.
