Using SQLite3 databases¶
Everything in SQLite Expert starts with a database. This section covers the whole life cycle of a SQLite 3 database — creating one, opening and closing it, keeping it healthy, and the more advanced operations such as encryption, attaching several databases at once, loading extensions, comparing schemas, and making backups.
Each database you work with appears in the tree panel on the left, identified by an alias — a friendly name you choose. SQLite Expert remembers the databases you have registered, so they are ready for you the next time you start the program.
