Generating Views using the Query Builder

You can use the Query Builder to create a view visually, without writing any SQL yourself.

To generate a view with the Query Builder:

  1. Build a query with the Query Builder, as described in the previous topic.
  2. Create a view from the generated SQL.

Tip

Give each output column a clear alias in the Columns pane before you generate the view — well-named columns make the view easier to use and avoid a known SQLite issue with unnamed view columns (see Known Issues).
