Exporting data to SQL

Export the contents of a data grid as an SQL script of INSERT statements — a convenient way to reproduce the data in another database or keep it under version control.

To export a grid to an SQL script:

  1. Right-click the grid and choose Export to SQL.
  2. Choose a destination file name and click Save.

Tip

This exports the rows in a single grid. To script whole tables (structure and data), or an entire database, use the Data Transfer Wizard instead.
