Closing a database¶
Closing a database disconnects from it and removes it from the tree panel. The database file itself is not deleted or changed — you can open it again at any time.
To close a database:
- Select the database in the tree panel.
- Choose File → Close Database from the main menu.
SQLite Expert closes the connection and unregisters the database, so it no longer appears in the tree panel.
Note
If a transaction is still open on the database, commit or roll it back before closing, so you don't lose any pending changes.
